Senior Manager, Defence Catering Job Description:

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to oversee the operations of our Defence Catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a team to manage day-to-day logistics and maintenance of equipment in Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate contract requirements with SAF for exercises held in Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Rockhampton, including logistical requirements and procurement system GEBIZ to ensure financial governance.
  2. Provide administrative and operational support to the team, manage client meetings, and oversee contract governance.
  3. Coordinate executive meetings, prepare materials, manage logistics, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
  4. Review and edit reports, presentations, and business documents to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
  5. Serve as liaison between management, SATS, and the client; respond to inquiries to maintain effective communication across levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Familiarity with MINDEF's operations and logistics, or related operational functions (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Rockhampton (Queensland, Australia) is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel regularly to Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia to support management.
Functional Skillsets:

Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ability to work independently and address challenges with strong problem-solving.

Key Requirements:

Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, must obtain security clearance CAT 2 from MINDEF Security Department due to supporting Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
