Community Engagement Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with us and contribute to the development of our community engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Volunteer Management: Assess and fulfill volunteer needs through recruitment, coordination, training, and retention.
  • Policy Compliance: Implement and monitor compliance with volunteer policies and processes.
  • Senior Volunteerism: Plan, develop, and implement senior volunteerism initiatives.
  • Leadership Programmes: Support volunteer leadership programmes.
  • Recognition and Engagement: Organise volunteer recognition and engagement activities.
  • Recruitment and Outreach: Drive recruitment and outreach initiatives, including events and campaigns to promote volunteerism.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate volunteer efforts.
  • Initiative Evaluation: Review and evaluate volunteer management policies and initiatives for improvement.
  • Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with grassroots organisations, corporates, schools, and other stakeholders.
  • Community Engagement Projects: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver community engagement projects.
  • Communication Strategies: Develop and manage communication strategies to support community engagement initiatives.
  • Fundraising and Donor Engagement: Support fundraising and donor engagement activities.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain and update stakeholder and volunteer databases.
  • Project Tracking: Track and monitor budgets, expenses, and funding for projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE O Levels and above.
  • Preferably with Advanced / Higher / Certificate in Community & Social Services.
