Marine Propulsion Service Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Propulsion Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair services, including planning, troubleshooting, diagnosing, minor repair and complete overhaul of major OEM marine propulsion equipment.
- Perform commissioning of new gearbox involving yard, basin and sea trials
- Able to interpret electrical drawings and perform basic troubleshooting of faults on electrical system with minimum guidance
- Assist Workshop Manager to prepare parts quotation for procurement to conduct repair and / or overhaul
- Conduct daily Toolbox meeting and ensure compliance with workplace safety and health practices
Requirements
- At least Diploma or higher in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in Marine Industry in propulsion
- Must be able to perform troubleshooting on propulsion related equipment with minimum guidance
- Require to travel overseas for assignment
- Must be able to be deployed within short notice period
- Must possess good verbal and written English communication skills
