About the Role Customer Care Specialist - Valves at Baker Hughes is a key position within our Energy Technology (IET) organization, operating in over 120 countries. The role focuses on ensuring on‐time project delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitable execution of valve and rotating equipment orders. Responsibilities Serve as the primary customer contact for valve orders, managing on‐time delivery, profit and loss, and overall customer satisfaction. Plan and lead cross‐functional projects, applying formal order/project management methodologies, leading meetings, managing risks, and coordinating Engineering, Procurement, and Finance. Collaborate with commercial teams to prepare proposals that meet technical, commercial, and delivery requirements. Track financial and operational performance, managing budgets, negotiating change orders, and implementing mitigation plans for margin variances. Ensure key performance metrics—on‐time delivery, sales margin, customer feedback scores, and project closeouts—meet targets using systems such as SAP, Microsoft Project, and Alfresco. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Minimum 10 years of related experience in a similar role and organization.
