Hosted by NTU, IDMxS is focused on development of core science to drive a paradigm shift in molecular detection and analysis to link the biomolecular world of life with the networked world of technology.IDMxS is looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual to join us as a Senior Research Fellow on further develop translational potential of IDMxS technologies within the institute.**Key Responsibilities:*** Identify, map, and develop mesoscopic biomarkers of stress and aging, including senescent cells. These include lipid droplets, membrane compositions, protein condensates, and other supramolecular mesoscopic entities.* Develop characterization of mesomarkers in cytoplasmic space. Examples include measurements of local and global fluidity, viscosity, crowding.* Execute biophysical/biochemistry/molecular biology experiments and perform data analysis.* Ensure effective communications among group members.* Ensuring effective team communication and proper documentation of laboratory work, while contributing to scientific publications and presentations.* Responsible for maintaining compliance with lab safety standards, assisting with lab management tasks, and mentoring junior team members.**Requirements:*** PhD in life science, biochemistry, molecular cell biology, or other related disciplines.* Minimum of 4 years of postdoctoral research experience.* Strong background and experience in cell biology experimentation.* Experience with most of the following analytical technologies, including fluorescence microscopy, spectroscopy, cell cultures, molecular biology techniques, biochemical assays, etc.* Quantitative fluorescence microscopy methods.* Familiar with laboratory operations, including safety protocols, equipment handling, and general lab management matters.* Strong communication skills and ability to write research reports, publish and critically review publications.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Hiring Institution: NTUNTU is also home to world-class autonomous institutes – the National Institute of Education, S Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Earth Observatory of Singapore, and Singapore Centre for Environmental Life Sciences Engineering – and various leading research centres such as the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI) and Energy Research Institute @ NTU ( ).Ranked amongst the world's top universities by QS, NTU has also been named the world's top young university for the past seven years.
