Senior Executive (Clinical Research Officer, Biobanking) (LKCMedicine)The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) trains doctors who put patients at the centre of their exemplary care. LKCMedicine, established in 2010 by NTU, in partnership with Imperial College London, aims to be a model for innovative medical education and a centre for transformative research. LKCMedicine is looking for a Senior Executive (Clinical Research Officer, Biobanking)who is self-motivated, proactive in problem solving and a strong team player. The candidate will be part of the Health for Life in Singapore (HELIOS) Study team, a flagship Singapore population health study jointly conducted by LKCMedicine, National Healthcare Group and Imperial College of London. The role will involve collecting, processing and biobanking biological samples, supporting clinical chemistry assays, maintaining equipment and ensuring regulatory compliance. The candidate will play a key role in the following tasks: Receive, process and biobank biological samples efficiently and in a timely manner. Assist in frozen sample retrieval and sorting for study collaborators. Perform daily routine measurements on analytical systems (e.g., clinical chemistry and hematology counter). Monitor quality standards by verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance, running daily quality controls and calibrations. Perform general administrative work such as tracking the supply of daily consumables and coordinating with vendors/suppliers on procurement matters. Troubleshoot equipment issues/breakdowns. Adhere to regulatory requirements (HBRA-HTF) and ensure safety in the work environment. Key competencies and requirements: Bachelor degree in Allied Health Sciences / Biomedical Sciences / Life Sciences / Biotechnology or other related fields. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply. Experience working in Biobanking facilities or running clinical chemistry assays. Ability to work independently with high levels of motivation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work well in a team to deliver good research participant care.
