The role of Public Art Manager involves leading the development and execution of public art programmes for a broad range of audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • A key aspect of this position is to develop and execute public art programmes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to develop strategies for outreach and engagement.
  • This includes identifying and developing strategic programme partners.
  • Responsibilities also include generating content including programme materials, reports, marketing, online content etc.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for managing, supervising and administering projects, processes and procedures under your responsibility.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the museum, arts and culture sector or equivalent.
  • A bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies, Art Management, or a related field is required.
  • Excellent project management skills are essential.
  • We are seeking a creative, motivated, dynamic, and outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for public art and a proven track record in managing programmes and teams.
