Roles & Responsibilities

Role:

This is a (Part-time), onsite, Science Teacher Assistant Role in MOE Primary School. If you are selected,

You will work closely with HOD/LH-Science and/or Admin Manager in an MOEPrimary School (nearest MRT- Kaki Bukit & Bedok North) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

● Set-up the science laboratories for lessons and science practical examinations

● Procure and prepare materials according to the lesson requirements

● Schedule the use of laboratories by the classes

● Manage the dissemination of teaching resources to staff

● Catalogue all science resources such as lab inventory and teaching materials

● Assist teachers to coordinate and manage science-related programmes such as

invigilation of science practical examinations, Science Fair, etc.

● Occasional tending of the school gardens, particularly the plants related to the

teaching of science

● Any other duties assigned by Principal, Vice-Principal, HOD/Science, AM and OMs deemed necessary

Job Requirements:

● GCE 'N' /'O' level qualifications or its equivalent

● One (1) year working experience in a science laboratory environment, preferably in a school setting

● Good organizational, administrative and and customer service skills

● Good command of the English language

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2026 to 30 November months)

Working Hours:

● Mondays to Fridays: 7.45 a.m. to 1.45 p.m.

● Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
