Job Title:

Biomedical Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and maintaining medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Schedules: To ensure seamless operations, meticulous planning and execution of commissioning, preventive maintenance, and calibration tasks is crucial.
  • Establish Protocols: Regular review of calibration and preventive maintenance protocols is essential to maintain medical equipment in good working condition.
  • Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Effective execution of preventive maintenance and calibration programs ensures the optimal performance of medical equipment.
  • Coordinate External Service Providers: Close coordination with external service providers is necessary for contractual and service-related issues.
  • Evaluate Medical Equipment: Decommissioned medical equipment must be evaluated for its suitability for reuse or disposal.

Requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in a related Engineering field (e.g., biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering) is required.
  • Experience: At least 4-6 years of experience in servicing and maintaining medical equipment is necessary.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities are essential for this role.
  • Additional Advantage: Healthcare/Hospitals experience is an added advantage.
