Job Title: Biomedical Equipment Specialist

As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of biomedical systems. Your primary responsibility will be to perform and complete scheduled preventive maintenance jobs for biomedical equipment by following manufacturer instructions and checklists.

You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing breakdown jobs for biomedical equipment. This will involve liaising with user departments and vendors to ensure that all work is completed within the required timeframe.

Additionally, you will be tasked with commissioning new biomedical equipment, ensuring that it meets the manufacturer's specifications. You will also need to troubleshoot and assist user departments on IT integration-related issues for biomedical equipment.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for placing and expediting parts orders for breakdown jobs, as well as ensuring that all scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown jobs are completed within the required timeframe.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. You must be able to communicate effectively with users, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all tasks are completed successfully.

Required Skills:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent experience
