As a part of the global Business Development team, the Senior Business Development Manager will execute the firm’s clients and markets strategy. Working closely with the leadership teams, the role will drive profitable growth, enhance the client experience, and build new business development capabilities.
The Senior Business Development Manager will provide commercial advice on strategic plans, drive go-to-market strategies, manage key client accounts, support major pursuits, and collaborate with partners to develop business development strategies.
Responsibilities
Execute the firm’s clients and markets strategy as part of the global Business Development team.
Drive profitable growth, enhance the client experience, and build new business development capabilities.
Provide commercial advice on strategic plans and drive go-to-market strategies.
Manage key client accounts and support major pursuits.
Collaborate with partners to develop business development strategies.
Qualifications
At least eight years of experience in a BD role in a law firm or other professional services environment.
Previous experience in a similar Marketing & Business Development Manager role with a focus on Energy & Infrastructure within the legal sector is desirable.
Knowledge of the Asian legal market is desirable but not essential.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a broader team.
Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to prioritise and manage workload under pressure.
High attention to detail and ability to establish professional credibility.
Excellent service delivery skills and high level of responsiveness.
