Role Overview Position: Public Policy Specialist – Contract, Remote Commitment: 20 hours per week, Duration: 2 months Combine public policy expertise with language mastery to train AI models in public policy. Responsibilities Translate and synthesize complex policy frameworks into structured rubrics for AI training. Write fluently in both Japanese and English, ensuring accurate terminology and nuanced expression. Provide cultural and policy insights unique to Japan. Collaborate with reviewers and peers to refine content. Requirements / Qualifications Must-Have Qualifications Native-level fluency in Japanese with strong written and spoken English. Degree in policy, political science, sociology, or similar field. 2–6+ years of experience in politics, public policy, or think tanks. Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with grading, instructional design, or rubric development. Familiarity with generative AI models or machine learning concepts.
