Job Title: Prayer Hall Attendant

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of prayer halls to ensure a safe and respectful environment for devotees.
  • Organize and decorate prayer tables with clean and tidy items, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Implement safety regulations in prayer halls, including crowd control during peak times and preventing devotees from burning incense or candles.
  • Respond patiently to devotee queries and provide quality service with a smile.
  • Coordinate, order, and arrange prayer items for ancestral and puja offerings, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
  • Occasionally assist in the warehouse with inventory management and ordering supplies.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Primary level education as a minimum requirement.
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a religious environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Good mobility, effective communication skills, and a team player attitude are essential for success in this position.
  • An eye for detail and ability to work independently, while adapting to changes in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to work on weekends, flexible to work occasional public holidays and evenings, and able to commence work immediately if possible.
