Job Title: Senior HR & Accounting Executive
Reports To: Country Manager and Director
Job Overview:
The Senior HR & Accounting Executive will be responsible for providing comprehensive support in the HR and basic accounting functions of the organization. This role will manage administrative tasks related to human resources and financial operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
HR Responsibilities
Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and candidate coordination.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Manage employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, performance management, disciplinary actions, and offboarding.
Handle HR documentation such as employment contracts, policy updates, and employee handbooks.
Ensure compliance with local employment laws, including social security, work permits, and visa requirements.
Support employee engagement initiatives and coordinate company events to promote a positive workplace culture.
Address general employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support the Performance Management System (PMS), monitoring and evaluating staff performance.
Assist in implementing training programs and employee development activities.
Coordinate with the regional payroll team to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve payroll-related issues.
Admin Responsibilities
Coordinate with vendors and service providers (e.g., office supplies, IT support) to ensure smooth office operations.
Monitor and maintain office facilities and equipment, managing maintenance schedules and troubleshooting issues.
Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders to ensure stock availability.
Provide support to sales and account teams, including client-related documentation, follow-ups, and project coordination.
Accounting Responsibilities
Perform basic accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliation.
Liaise with the Accountant to maintain accurate financial transaction records.
Manage expense tracking, reimbursements, and petty cash handling.
Assist with the preparation for external accounting and financial audits by coordinating with accountants or auditors.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in HR and/or accounting roles, with a strong understanding of HR practices and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with HRIS systems.
Experience with payroll processing.
Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
