The People and Culture Senior Manager will be responsible for partnering with business leaders to develop and execute People and Culture (P&C) strategies that align with our organizational goals in Malaysia. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to the leadership team in Singapore, Australia and APAC, providing insights and solutions on talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and other P&C functions. Reporting to the VP, People & Culture, APAC and working closely with the regional and global P&C teams.
Essential Job Functions
Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, understanding their goals and challenges, and provide P&C solutions to drive business performance.
Develop and implement P&C strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and providing recommendations.
Provide guidance and support on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
Work with global teams on mandates to lead talent management processes, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
Foster a positive organizational culture and promote employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all local labor laws and regulations.
Collaborate with People & Culture teams across APAC to drive regional P&C initiatives and share best practices.
Any other duties as assigned, when necessary, due to business change
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field. A master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or business partner role.
Experience in the tech or data centers industry is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations in Singapore, Australia and APAC.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
