Overview
You will play an active role in the entire lifecycle of traffic schemes in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Apply strong design and traffic analysis skills as you guide the planning and execution of traffic management strategies.
Advise developers, consultants, and agencies from the initial planning and design stages to implementation and ongoing review.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify traffic management needs, develop innovative solutions, oversee the execution of plans, and continually assess their effectiveness to ensure optimal traffic flow and safety.
Spearhead projects to enhance road safety and create an improved living environment for all road users.
Leverage data science techniques and GIS tools, such as QGIS, to analyse traffic patterns and make data-driven recommendations that improve travel for commuters, motorists, and cyclists.
Join a dynamic working environment that values technical and analytical abilities and applies data science and GIS to shape the future of traffic management and urban mobility.
Qualifications
Knowledge in Civil / Traffic / Transportation Engineering
At least 2 years of experience in Traffic / Transportation-related or operational fields; familiar with road design is preferred
Possess initiative, good communication and leadership skills with lateral thinking ability
Class 3 driving licence is preferred
Knowledge of GIS/Traffic Microsimulation is an advantage
As part of the shortlisting process for the role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and / or undergo further assessment.
