We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician Refrigerant Reclamation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting analytical testing on refrigerant samples, ensuring lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and supporting compliance with industry and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Analytical Testing: Perform quality control on incoming, reclaimed, and processed refrigerant samples using Gas Chromatographs (GC), halide detectors, and titration equipment.
  • Coordinate with Production Teams: Work closely with production teams to ensure accurate sampling and address any quality-related concerns.
  • Maintain Laboratory Equipment: Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as GCs, halide detectors, and titration equipment used in refrigerant analysis.
  • Ensure Compliance: Coordinate with third-party service providers for calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure compliance with industry and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Degree Requirement: A diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in refrigerant, HVAC, or chemical analysis.
  • Skills: Hands-on experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) and titration methods is an advantage.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of chemical safety, environmental compliance, and laboratory best practices is essential.
  • Soft Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
