Job Opportunity:

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Database Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop and maintain database solutions, optimize performance and ensure data integrity across systems.

The successful candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities and hands-on experience with Oracle and MS SQL.

  • Design, develop and maintain database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, triggers and functions in Oracle and MS SQL.
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing and monitoring.
  • Ensure data integrity, security and backup/recovery procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts and business users to translate requirements into database solutions.
  • Perform database troubleshooting, issue resolution and support for production systems.
  • Assist in database migrations, upgrades and deployment activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for database designs, scripts and processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Database Developer or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server (T-SQL).
  • Strong understanding of database design, normalization and relational modeling.
  • Experience with performance tuning, query optimization and indexing.
  • Knowledge of backup/recovery, security and database monitoring tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ETL processes, SSIS or data integration tools.
  • Familiarity with reporting/BI tools like Power BI, Tableau or SSRS.
  • Exposure to cloud database platforms is a plus.
