A job as a Database Administrator is available with our organization.

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining IT systems and applications that support data management needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design the database architecture and modeling strategies to ensure security, scalability, and reliable performance.
  • Collaborate with the application development team to define the application data model, optimizing database operations.
  • Act as the point of contact for principal vendors regarding software and hardware.
  • Provide production support and resolve database-related issues, including after-office-hours support.

In this role, you will also:

  • Assist the application team with database-related matters, such as data patching, application deployments, and data extraction for reporting.
  • Plan and strategize data mapping for migrating data from legacy systems, ensuring no data loss during conversion.
  • Review data mapping, conversion, and integration specifications to ensure quality and adherence to modeling strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data synchronization during coexistence with legacy systems.

You will be working with a variety of databases, including Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, MySQL, Postgres, MariaDB, and MongoDB.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience with database setup and management in a high-availability active-active setup.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL scripting and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with data auditing and security measures.
  • Experience with data masking products is beneficial.
