Vessel Operations Manager Position
As a Vessel Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operation of assigned vessels. This involves close monitoring of vessel performance, supervising dry-dockings and repairs, conducting technical investigations, and ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Vessel Safety and Operation: Oversee the safe and efficient operation of assigned vessels, including monitoring performance, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Technical Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations into technical issues affecting vessel performance, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Certification and Documentation: Ensure that all vessels under your charge are certified and documented in accordance with international safety standards.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years shore-based experience as a Vessel Manager and 10 years sailing experience.
- Qualifications: Professionally sound, highly motivated, and a good team player with strong leadership qualities and commitment to safety/compliance procedures.
