Overview
Oculus Design is a strategic design and communications agency. We're on the lookout for a
Senior Designer
with the creativity, experience, and ambition to grow into an
Art Director
role.
You know how to bring structure and storytelling together and is just as comfortable designing a 60-page publication as you are crafting a bold social campaign. If you're a strategic thinker, a strong visual storyteller, and someone who's always pushing for better ideas and smarter design, this might be the next step you've been looking for.
Responsibilities
Lead the design
of publications, campaigns, brand visuals, and social content from concept to final execution.
Take projects from concept through to delivery with both creative vision and attention to detail.
Collaborate with writers, strategists, and other designers to develop strong, cohesive narratives.
Bring clarity and creativity to corporate work, helping clients tell their stories in fresh and meaningful ways.
Contribute ideas, challenge briefs, and push design beyond the expected.
Help guide and mentor junior designers, contributing to a creative and collaborative team culture.
What You Bring to the Team
Around
3-5+ years of design experience
(agency or in-house).
A portfolio that shows
strong conceptual thinking , smart use of layout, and polished execution across publication and social media.
Confident in designing for different formats like publications, campaigns, social content, and more.
Great visual instincts: you understand brand, composition, hierarchy, and storytelling.
Proficiency in
Adobe Creative Suite ,
Figma , and a solid understanding of digital and print production.
Comfortable collaborating across teams and presenting your ideas clearly.
A natural curiosity and drive to grow, especially toward an art direction role.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience working with B2B or corporate brands.
Skills in motion, video editing, or interactive design.
A bit of leadership or mentoring experience.
