We are seeking a qualified Legal Counsel to provide expert advice and practical solutions across diverse areas of law, including contract, intellectual property, corporate governance, criminal, employment, family, and regulatory matters.

Mandatory Skill-set

  • Qualified under the Legal Profession Act with a Law degree;
  • Must have 1–2 years of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in private practice and/or in-house legal counsel;
  • Must have strong analytical and critical thinking skills;
  • Must have experience in drafting and reviewing a wide range of legal documents such as contracts, MOUs, NDAs, IT, construction, real estate;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desired Skill-set

  • Familiarity with regulatory and enforcement matters;
  • Ability to engage in policy and legislation analysis and contribute to legislative drafting;
  • Confidence in conducting educational sessions and supporting innovative legal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal advice and practical solutions across various areas of law.
  • Prosecute statutory offences, including preparing and conducting mentions, pre-trial conferences, and trials.
  • Handle legal matters related to enforcement and investigations.
  • Conduct legal groundwork for policy changes, advise on legislative amendments, and liaise with the Attorney-General's Chambers.
  • Draft, vet, and provide legal advice on a broad range of contracts and legal documents.
  • Support legal education initiatives and contribute to innovative legal projects.
