VP Global Tech Media & Telecom Coverage -O8)Global Corporate Banking – Technology, Media and Telecommunications ("TMT") Coverage Description The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Global TMT team at OCBC, spearheading strategic initiatives to broaden, expand and deepen relationships for a portfolio of TMT corporate clients globally. This role involves providing tailored financial solutions, delivering exceptional client service, and driving revenue growth. You are expected to have a deep understanding of the TMT industry with strong client relationships, with proven ability to identify market opportunities and conceptualize ideas, and turning these ideas into deal origination and execution. Responsibilities Origination of corporate and investment banking business across TMT sectors, with deeper focus on Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure Originate and lead execution of mandate covering various product offerings including Structured Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets & Merger & Acquisition Advisory, Transaction Banking, Supply Chain Finance and Treasury Supervise / prepare financial models with P&L, balance sheet and cash‐flow projections based on sound business and market assumptions Ensure timely submission of proposals and meeting deal execution timelines Mentor junior bankers in terms of origination, technical and execution skills Qualifications Degree holder in Finance, Economics or related discipline Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in corporate & investment banking, involving loan syndication, debt capital markets, equity capital markets and merger & acquisition advisory related transactions Good knowledge and experience in TMT with focus on Telecom and Digital Infrastructure covering Southeast Asia and North Asian markets Strong leadership skills with experience in leading deal teams for origination and execution Results‐oriented, resourceful and strong business connections in identifying and developing business opportunities. Track record and experience in this aspect will be an advantage Develop business strategies and maintain discipline in planning of daily activities to support the strategic directions of the Global TMT team.
