We are looking for a VP of Product to be based in our Singapore office. This executive management role will be responsible for leading our product organization and will report to the CEO of Rakuten Viki.

**Responsibilities**:
- Define the product vision, strategy, life-cycle, and goals for the product team to achieve the business objectives.- Lead an aligned product organization to create, own, and evangelize a product roadmap that enables near-term and future business growth. Drive iterative prioritization efforts by translating business strategy into product principles.- Establish a clear and agile product development process which incorporates design thinking and prioritizes delivering the most value to the business. The product development process should be based on hypothesis, data, user feedback, and is biased towards action.- Recruit, mentor, and coach a high performing product team.- Partner effectively with stakeholders across the company to achieve business objectives.

**Qualifications**:
- 15+ years of experience in product management, design, and/or product development, with a track record of creating successful consumer internet products.- 15+ years of experience leading world-class product teams through various phases of the product life cycle.- Experience working in video streaming or media publishing domains will be highly regarded.- Passionate user of consumer internet products and digital media, with a deep understanding of underlying technologies.- People-first leader with experience in leading and developing a diverse team.- Strong communicator with experience working with a globally distributed team across multiple time zones.- Ability to prioritize among many competing alternatives and plans, balance customer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions made throughout the process.- Entrepreneurial, analytical, and organized, with a bias for action.- Degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable work experience.
