Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL objects — procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views. Develop ETL solutions to integrate data across various internal/external systems. Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning for large-scale databases. Work with data architects on design of logical & physical data models. Build data solutions supporting reporting, dashboards, and analytics. Ensure solutions comply with data privacy and insurance regulatory standards. Implement secure data structures and coding practices to protect sensitive data. Collaborate with business users, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements. Maintain detailed documentation for database structures and code. Required Qualifications Experience 10+ years of hands‐on Oracle PL/SQL development experience. Minimum 4+ years in database architecture/design. 3+ years of exposure to insurance domain (policy admin, claims, underwriting, etc.). Technical Skills Strong expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c), PL/SQL & SQL tuning. Hands‐on experience with Oracle tools: SQL Developer, TOAD, SQL*Plus. Strong knowledge of database optimization, indexing, and partitioning. Experience building ETL workflows (Informatica / ODI is a plus). Understanding of insurance data structures (policy, claims, customer data). Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Ability to work in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment. Nice-to-Have Experience with Oracle Forms/Reports, Oracle APEX, or Java integration. Experience with insurance platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, InsureTech). Cloud platform exposure (Oracle Cloud / AWS / Azure) & DB migration.
