This role involves reviewing strategic supplier relationships, supporting team members, and contributing to the team's foundational knowledge development.**The Opportunity*** Partner effectively with all internal stakeholders of the procurement department.* Supervise, coach and support team in effective ways of working to increase efficiency and accuracy.* Assess and analyse spend and operations from acquired companies, recommending alignment to best practices.* Influence cross-functional category teams, maintain industry knowledge, and incorporate feedback to meet customer needs and business goals.* Evaluate supplier performance through spend and savings data analysis to identify trends and gaps.**Your new role*** Manage key suppliers through appropriate evaluation, selection, and governance for service quality and commercial value.* Conduct regular reviews with suppliers to ensure terms are met and address issues promptly.* Adhere to standard policies, procedures, and best practices for efficient operation and compliance.**About you*** Experience in managing external suppliers with increasing levels of responsibility preferred.* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, identify improvement opportunities, and manage external vendor relationships.* Deliver activities to maximise savings, minimise risk, and optimise service quality from suppliers.**About QBE**At QBE, we're enabling a more resilient future – for our customers, communities, environment, and for our people.
