Job Title: Western Cuisine Cook for a Busy Cafe
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Western cuisine cook to join our team in a busy cafe environment. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in cooking Western-style dishes and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Western-style dishes such as pasta, grilled items, breakfast sets, and sandwiches according to high standards.

• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control for all dishes.

• Handle food preparation including cutting, marinating, boiling, and grilling.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen at all times, following strict food safety standards.

• Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper storage of ingredients.

• Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

• Assist in menu improvement and contribute new dish ideas suitable for our customers.

• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
Requirements:

• Prior experience as a cook in Western cuisine is preferred.

• Knowledge of basic kitchen operations and food safety practices.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

• Positive attitude, punctuality, and responsibility.
