Research Fellow Position at LKCMedicine

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our team at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology and animal disease modeling, with previous experience working with animal models of disease. The research group focuses on human innate immunity, and the ideal candidate will contribute to ongoing projects investigating signaling pathways involved in innate immunity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Modeling human diseases in rodents using advanced techniques
  • Analyzing mouse phenotypes in peripheral blood and secondary lymphoid organs through meticulous data analysis
  • Performing complex molecular biology experiments to elucidate the mechanisms of innate immunity
  • Data analysis, interpretation, and reporting to advance scientific knowledge
  • Preparing manuscripts for publication in top-tier scientific journals
Key Competencies and Education Requirements:
  • PhD in molecular biology, immunology, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in immunophenotyping, serological assays, and macrophage and T cell functional assays
  • Familiarity with laboratory practices, including animal handling and safety protocols
