We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematics Learning Therapist to join our team.

Job Description

A Mathematics Learning Therapist is responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans that meet the needs and abilities of students, in line with the guidelines of the SES Maths curriculum. This includes designing accompanying instructional materials for lessons that meet students' varying needs, delivering face-to-face and online lessons that are engaging and lively, employing DAS teaching approaches, monitoring student progress, sharing information with parents, and writing progress reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree from a recognized university
  • Minimum grade of C6 for E Maths at GCE 'O' levels
  • No teaching experience is necessary, however, some experience in teaching Mathematics, and/or working with children with specific learning differences would be an advantage
  • Flexibility in adapting to changing programme needs
  • Good understanding of the Singapore Mathematics curriculum would be an advantage
  • Passionate in working with children of all ages and abilities
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekday evenings and weekends (Saturdays & Sundays)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite & Zoom
  • Positive learning attitude

Others

Successful candidates must expect to work from any of our learning centres in various locations. A 3-year bond is required for all Educational Therapists. The training for the Certificate courses and Postgraduate Certificate (PGC) will be conducted during the bond period.
