Job Title: Mathematics Learning Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Mathematics Learning Therapist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans that meet the needs and abilities of students in line with the guidelines of the SES Maths curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging and lively lessons for students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Develop accompanying instructional materials for lessons that cater to students' diverse needs.
  • Monitor student progress and share information with parents through regular updates.
  • Write comprehensive progress reports to track student development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum degree from a recognized university.
  • Minimum grade of C6 for E Maths at GCE 'O' levels.
  • No prior teaching experience is necessary, but some experience in teaching Mathematics and/or working with children with specific learning differences would be an advantage.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing programme needs.
  • Good understanding of the Singapore Mathematics curriculum would be an advantage.
  • Passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities.
  • Able to work flexible hours including weekday evenings and weekends (Saturdays & Sundays).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite & Zoom.
  • Positive learning attitude.

Other Requirements:

Successful candidates must expect to work from any of our learning centres in various locations. A 3-year bond is required for all Educational Therapists. The training for the Certificate courses and Postgraduate Certificate (PGC) will be conducted during the bond period.
