Mathematics Therapist

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Mathematics Therapists. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering educational therapy focused on Mathematics to children with dyslexia and other specific learning differences.

The role involves creating and delivering lesson plans that meet the students' needs and abilities, in line with the guidelines of the SES Maths curriculum. You will also design accompanying instructional materials for lessons that meet students' varying needs, and deliver face-to-face and online lessons that are engaging and lively, employing DAS teaching approaches.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Create engaging and interactive instructional materials to support student learning
  • Deliver high-quality educational therapy sessions to students in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Degree from a recognized university
  • Minimum grade of C6 for E Maths at GCE 'O' levels
  • No teaching experience is necessary, however, some experience in teaching Mathematics, and/or working with children with specific learning differences would be an advantage
  • Flexibility in adapting to the changing needs of the programme
  • Good understanding of the Singapore Mathematics curriculum would be an advantage

Work Arrangements:
