Director, APAC at RP International Singapore PR Our client is a fast-growing data centre operator in the Asia-Pacific region offering colocation, hyperscale, enterprise, interconnection and managed services. Their portfolio spans multiple countries including Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan. We are seeking a strategic and driven Assistant HR Manager (people‐oriented, self‐motivated, strong communicator, problem‐solving, conflict resolution). The role aligns HR practices with organisational goals, supports strategic initiatives, and fosters a positive work culture. Key Responsibilities Support the VP HR and admin in end‐to‐end HR operations: recruitment, onboarding, probation, exit procedures, organisation development, performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and retention strategies. Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning HR strategy with business objectives. Coordinate the employment lifecycle, contract administration, performance reviews, employee relations, and contract renewals. Prepare accurate HR reports and maintain up‐to‐date employee records in line with corporate and statutory requirements. Administer employee benefits and compensation in compliance with labor laws and corporate guidelines. Organise and facilitate employee training, engagement activities, and performance appraisal exercises. Conduct employee engagement and satisfaction surveys; analyze results and recommend improvements. Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries and policy interpretation. Manage employee grievances professionally and advise on resolution strategies. Organise team‐building activities, staff functions, and employee recognition events. Develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbook in line with global HR strategies. Lead recruitment efforts for all levels, conduct interviews and manage onboarding/offboarding. Partner with line managers to identify training needs and deliver tailored programmes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. Minimum 7 years of HR experience in talent acquisition and business partnering; preferably in technology, data centre or a similarly fast‐paced industry. Proven expertise in recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy implementation. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; excellent numerical and analytical abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organised; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, capable of working independently.
