Job Title: Data Center Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Center Inventory Specialist.

Job Description:

  • Daily Inventory Management: Perform daily inventory checks to ensure accurate records of all assets and equipment within the data center. Escalate any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to process warranty claims, return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), and manage packaging, shipping, and tracking.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in inventory systems, such as CMDB and asset repositories.
  • Physical Inventory Tracking: Support the physical inventory tracking, staging, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Data-Bearing Device Destruction: Perform secure destruction of data-bearing devices per SLA and policy.
  • Stock Level Monitoring: Monitor stock levels and alert management of potential shortages.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to all security, safety, and data handling protocols.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in warehouse, supply chain, IT inventory management, retail, or a related field.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, lifting, walking, and working at heights.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • A willingness to learn and grow technical knowledge.
