Inventory Technician Job

Job Summary:

As an Inventory Technician, you will be responsible for supporting data center inventory management. This includes maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing deliveries, conducting regular audits to verify data center inventory against control standards, handling movement of IT equipment using tools such as pallet jacks or assisted lifting devices, operating within a ticketing system to manage daily tasks and issues, managing logistics functions such as shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking, supporting shift-based tactical operations including ticket prioritization, escalations handling, and issue resolution in alignment with internal standards and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure up-to-date and accurate records of all deliveries.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory.
  • Handle movement of IT equipment using appropriate tools.
  • Manage tickets and daily tasks within the ticketing system.
  • Carry out secure destruction of data-bearing devices.
  • Manage logistics functions including shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IT or Computer Engineering.
  • 1 year of experience in IT support or monitoring (Fresh graduates welcome).
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in English to liaise with regional/global teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in inventory control, logistics, or warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and shift-based operations.
