Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Center Inventory Specialist to support our inventory management operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing deliveries, conducting regular audits to verify data center inventory against control standards, and handling movement of IT equipment using tools such as pallet jacks or assisted lifting devices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of inventory control principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in English is required, and experience with ticketing systems and shift-based operations is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing deliveries
  • Conduct regular audits to verify data center inventory against control standards
  • Handle movement of IT equipment using tools such as pallet jacks or assisted lifting devices
  • Operate within a ticketing system to manage daily tasks and issues
  • Carry out secure destruction of data-bearing devices (e.g., HDDs, SSDs)

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in IT, computer engineering, or related field
  • 1 year of experience in IT support or monitoring preferred
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment, with or without assisted tools
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in team environments
  • Proficient in English (written and spoken) to liaise with regional/global teams
