Environmental Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Environmental Control Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations meet the highest environmental standards.
">Duties and Responsibilities
">- Monitor and verify adherence to our Environmental Management Plan (EMP) at all times, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Minimize environmental impacts during project planning, design, and construction phases.
- Conduct regular surveillance, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with EMP.
- Compile and maintain checklists to aid surveillance and inspection requirements.
- Record all environmental activities and incidents on site, issuing spot fines for transgressions of EMP.
- Recommend penalties for contravention of EMP to the Engineers Representative.
- Prepare and submit Site Environmental Control Programme and Site Environmental Control Reports to the Occupier.
- Identify environmental issues and recommend measures to rectify irregularities.
- Assist authorities in investigating environmental issues.
- Organize campaigns, training courses, and other activities to promote good environmental health standards among workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:
">- To be registered with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
- To have good knowledge of ECO Scheme and Environmental Laws.
- To have at least 5 years' relevant working experience in the construction industry, particularly in civil works or LTA projects.
- To be familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
- To be a good team player with a positive attitude.
- To be willing to work in the Tampines area and to work six days a week.
