Job Title: Earth Control Measure Officer and Environmental Control SpecialistOverview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Earth Control Measure Officer and Environmental Control Specialist to join our team. As an integral member of our environmental management team, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring our environmental management system, conducting site inspections, and advising our management on environmental issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and monitor the effectiveness of our environmental management system to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and legislations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential environmental hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Advise our management on environmental issues and provide recommendations for solutions.
  • Prepare and submit reports on environmental performance and recommend remedial measures where necessary.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate staff and workers on environmental health standards and practices.
  • Submit monthly reports to our management highlighting key environmental achievements and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Certificate of Competency in Earth Control Measures for Construction Site Personnel.
  • Be registered as an Environmental Control Officer (ECO).
  • Have at least 5 years of relevant experience in environmental management or a related field.
  • Have strong knowledge of all relevant environmental policies, legislations, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate independence, discipline, and accountability in your work.
Desirable Skills:
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and auditing procedures.
  • Experience in risk assessment and prevention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:

This role is based on-site and requires regular interaction with our team members and external stakeholders. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
