What you'll do : Management of the legal portfolio for the Flash Coffee group of companies in the region including but not limited to fund-raising activities, general commercial and corporate law matters, proprietary rights management, dispute resolution, employment matters, real estate, tax, food health and safety concerns, privacy, security and other compliance concerns Act as a key point of contact for all legal or compliance issues and queries that may arise in the various jurisdictions that we operate in or may consider operating in Craft contract templates, negotiate and review contracts, and participate in due diligence exercises as required Manage the corporate secretarial portfolio for the Flash Coffee group of companies in the region which includes the drafting of resolutions and circulation of the same for execution, administration of the board and shareholder requirements, maintenance of corporate registers and repositories, instructing and / or collaborating with external corporate secretarial service providers, oversee the insurance coverage of the board, and responding to ad-hoc queries from shareholders Build and implement processes and procedures to ensure Flash Coffee’s continued compliance with applicable laws and regulations Conduct product reviews for compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Attend to or oversee filings with, and / or investigations by, regulatory authorities and claims or threats thereof by third parties, as necessary. Conduct risk assessments, maintain risk registers, present and report non-compliance and findings to senior management. Who you are : Highly skilled and experienced in contract drafting and negotiations, advising on matters concerning corporate law and governance, general dispute resolution, intellectual property, product compliance, and health and safety issues Ready and willing to roll-up your sleeves and see legal and / or compliance matters, projects and initiatives through from end-to-end Familiarity with Singapore corporate laws is a-must Detail-oriented and able to identify issues, both present and in-the-horizon Experience managing legal issues at a regional or global level is preferred Excellent communicator (both written and verbal), and able to effectively manage both internal and external stakeholder relationships across individuals at all levels Regional language skills (spoken and / or written) is a plus (but not a must) What we have for you : We have a steep learning curve and because of that, not a day is boring here Being part of a fast-growing start-up with hands-on exposure from day one.
