Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Employee Relations Specialist located in Singapore. The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing employee relations and engagement, developing and implementing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and handling related procedures, including but not limited to assisting with the signing/renewal of labor contracts, timely completion of various insurance contributions, and payroll processing; responsible for the application and maintenance of Work Pass.
Coordinate labor relations by collecting, organizing, and analyzing employee concerns, and providing timely feedback and resolution.
Identify employment relations cases with potential regulatory conduct rule breaches and escalate such matters to relevant departments for resolution.
Keep HR and Employment Law knowledge up to date, provide legal and best practice advice, and guide on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
Provide additional support within the Employee Relations team for projects, peak periods, and broader HR priorities.
What You Need To Succeed
Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role, or equivalent experience.
Strong critical thinking skills, efficiency, ability to work autonomously, judgment, and decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, conflict resolution abilities, and in-depth knowledge of labor laws and Employment Law.
Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee information, investigations, and HR matters.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Experience in administration is a plus.
