Product Safety Expertise in High-Tech Manufacturing
We are seeking a seasoned Product Safety Engineer to join our innovative product development team specializing in high-precision semiconductor equipment.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international safety standards by conducting design reviews prior to audits, working closely with cross-functional teams, and coordinating with external auditors to secure compliance certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-audit design reviews to ensure compliance with international safety standards (IEC, UL, SEMI, CE, NFPA, ISO)
- Collaborate with design engineers to integrate safety requirements early in the product development process
- Interpret global safety regulations and translate them into actionable design and testing criteria
- Coordinate with third-party certification bodies (e.g., TÜV, UL, CSA) and manage compliance audits
Requirements:
- Candidates with experience in product safety engineering, preferably in semiconductor equipment, industrial machinery, or high-tech manufacturing
- Proven track record of achieving compliance certifications (e.g., CE, UL, IEC 60204, SEMI S2/S8)
- Familiarity with safety standards such as CE, IEC 60204, NFPA 79
