
Maintenance Officer

On behalf of the hiring company, we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as Maintenance Officer (or Assistant Officer).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance for both preventive and corrective maintenance works on equipment.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all maintenance activities performed within the assigned section.
- Participate in the investigation of equipment damage or accidents and assist in the preparation of requisite reports.
- Facilitate liaison and follow-up activities with equipment owners regarding maintenance-related matters.
- Conduct regular patrol checks to monitor the status of maintenance works and equipment performance.
- Collaborate effectively with other internal departments, including international counterparts (e.g., Japan), on matters of maintenance coordination.
- Develop, monitor, and control maintenance work procedures to ensure efficiency and adherence to standards.
- Prepare and manage technical check sheets, crucial for systematic maintenance execution.
- Report directly to the superior on all matters relevant to the section's operations and performance.
- Ensure proper record-keeping and accurate documentation of all completed works.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify opportunities for reduction in breakdown ratios.
- Prepare necessary reports concerning various aspects of maintenance operations.
- Ensure the timely and effective execution of all assigned maintenance tasks.
- Generate quotations for necessary parts and renovation works.
- Issue precise job instructions for all maintenance activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with the company's Environmental Policy, specifically focusing on waste reduction and pollution prevention.
- Execute any other duties as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
- Qualification: A degree or diploma in engineering-related fields
- Experience: This is an entry-level position; no prior professional experience is required.
- Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in basic administrative tasks

This role comprises 70% work in the office and 30% work at the site.
