Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in supporting software applications, troubleshooting production issues, and resolving application incidents within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes.

The successful candidate will provide software application support, troubleshooting, and bug fixing related to maintained Software Applications. They will also implement application enhancements as required, communicate with end-users, customer IT teams, and support engineers from other application vendors to understand production issues and advise on solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and resolve software application-related issues.
  • Implement application enhancements and updates to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve production issues.
  • Work with the support team and Service Delivery Manager to rectify production issues.
  • Document and track incidents, providing regular progress updates.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 1 year of working experience in software application development.
  • Hands-on experience with Java, PHP, Python, C#.Net, SQL/PLSQL, APIs (RESTful and SOAP), and shell scripting.
  • Proficient in database management (SQL Server, MySQL, Microsoft Access), operational systems (LINUX and Windows Server), and Application Servers (Apache Tomcat, WAMP, WebSphere).
  • Excellent communication skills and strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Proven experience in application support and user query management (L1/L2).

Training will be provided for the right candidate, enabling them to excel in this role and contribute to the company's success.
