Insurance Broking Career

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Junior Insurance Broker. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to support our broking team in client servicing and administrative functions.

The role involves preparing insurance documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will contribute to business development, maintain accurate records, and assist in delivering tailored insurance solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop strong relationships with clients
    • Assist in the creation of comprehensive client and broking documents
    • Deal with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties
    • Negotiate with underwriters to place insurance that balances quality, coverage and price

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Insurance, or a related field preferred
  • Experience: Prior experience in insurance, broking, or client servicing
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, good written and negotiation skills, communication skills, high level of integrity, entrepreneurial spirit, professionalism, ability to think and react quickly in challenging situations and negotiations, good interpersonal and relationship building skills, outgoing and friendly personality, familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards, proactive attitude toward personal and professional development
