Head, Finance Shared Services

The Head, Finance Shared Services is accountable for the efficient and effective operations of the finance transactional services. The division head will lead and manage a high-quality, service-oriented finance team to deliver reliable finance shared services to the Firm. You are also responsible for driving continuous process improvement and focusing on quality, increased efficiencies, and internal controls as well as motivating and leading the team through these changes.

The role will work closely with other finance colleagues to deliver finance strategies, drive & implement finance transformation programs. You will develop closer and stronger partnership within the Finance community in the Firm as part of engagement and service delivery of finance transactional support services.

In summary, you will:

· Lead and motivate a large team to deliver high quality services within expected turnaround times, in accordance with Service Level Agreements & Key Performance Index.

· demonstrate strong process and efficiency mind-set that constantly seeks to improve service levels

· Design programs to deliver excellent customer service

· Able to leverage technology to drive process improvements

· Define and look at new and more effective ways of delivering and exceeding SLAs

· Demonstrate business mindset to strive for operational excellence

· Coach and mentor the team members

Ideally you are a CA with at least 15 years of experience managing Finance Shared Services or Finance Ops for a sizeable organisation
