**The Job**:
You will support the Finance Shared Services team and report to the General Accounting Tower Lead.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a team within General Accounting Tower and supervise the extended finance team base in overseas
- Manage the general ledgers for a portfolio of companies and ensure timely month end closing within agreed timelines
- Review and approve journal entries
- Review bank reconciliations and audit schedules and follow up on clearing/reconciling items
- Review draft Corporate Tax computations and Tax returns for submission to Business Finance
- Review monthly/quarterly GST report for e-filing to IRAS
- Review fixed asset accounting transactions and maintain the fixed asset register
- Review revaluation gains/losses journals
- Review and finalize closing for financial reporting and ensure that intercompany reconciliation
- Prepare draft Financial Statements and Notes to Financial Statements before submission to Business Finance
- Prepare XBRL and submit to Corporate Secretariat for filing to ACRA
- Continuously review and update SOPs for General Accounting Tower
- Participate and contribute to process improvement initiatives within Finance Shared Services
- Participate and contribute to finance system enhancement projects
- Participate in any other tasks/projects as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Accountancy or ACCA with at least 5 years relevant working experience, or Diploma in Accountancy with at least 8 years relevant working experience
- Knowledge of intermediary/advanced Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of Oracle/SAP/Yardi will be added advantage
- A resourceful, analytical and self-motivated mindset
