What The Role Entails As Tencent Cloud expands its engineering presence across Southeast Asia, we are hiring a Cloud Quality Assurance Lead to take end-to-end ownership of product quality across one or more international cloud offerings. This is a leadership role for someone ready to not just execute tests, but to architect testing frameworks, drive automation strategies, and champion cross-regional reliability standards. You’ll be leading testing initiatives that ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our cloud services, while working hand-in-hand with product, development, and delivery teams across regional markets. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for at least one core cloud product, including test requirement analysis, test case design, execution, defect tracking, and quality reporting. Continuously improve test efficiency and effectiveness through automation, chaos testing, DevOps methodologies, and AI‑driven testing tools. Provide delivery support where needed by collaborating with internal stakeholders and clients to understand business needs and ensure smooth product deployment. Who We Look For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. 8+ years of experience in software/system testing, automation, and test development, with 3+ years of team management experience. Hands‑on experience with automation and performance testing frameworks. Strong programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Java, C++). Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Tencent Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP. Fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin (spoken and written) for internal and external cross‑region and cross‑functional communications.
