Job Title:
Nursing Department Support Assistant
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support and assist nursing leaders and team members in daily operations.
- Prepare and process patient admissions, ensuring a smooth transition into care.
- Collate and compile Clinical Quality Indicators to drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Record meeting minutes for nursing teams and maintain accurate documentation.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Coordinate outpatient appointments for residents and staff, ensuring seamless communication and logistics.
- Manage training records for staff and maintain up-to-date vaccination records for residents and employees.
- Update and maintain resident databases for Advance Care Planning (ACP) and Palliative Care Planning (PPC).
- Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to empathize with residents' needs and provide compassionate support.
- Strong understanding of legislation and policies governing healthcare services.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Sharepoint, Excel, and Word.
- Relevant experience in the healthcare sector is an added advantage.
