Job Title: Community Health Research Coordinator

This role involves working as part of a team to support the delivery of public health research projects under the SPHS unit. The successful candidate will contribute towards the building of a population health biobank for Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and engage with participants in relevant studies via phone calls or messaging;
  • Screen participants for eligibility and schedule appointments for study procedures;
  • Provide logistical information for interview and study site visit;
  • Manage participant flow at the study site visit and verify survey completion status;
  • Explain study consent documents to ensure informed and voluntary consent;
  • Obtain participant consent before beginning study procedures;
  • Conduct interviews according to e-questionnaire and enter responses accurately on a tablet;
  • Ensure timely completion of interviews and registration for study site visit procedures;
  • Prepare required materials and equipment for study site visits;
  • Organise work outputs for handover to QC supervisor;
  • Perform other responsibilities as required by future research projects.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Post-secondary qualifications with a good command of spoken English and Malay/Tamil/Mandarin/Cantonese/Hokkien/Teochew languages;
  • At least 1 year of customer-facing work experience;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong time management skills;
  • Proficient in using a tablet for data entry and record retrieval.

  • Working hours from 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, and 7:30 am to 12:30 pm on either Saturday or Wednesday;
