About The Role The Human Resources Manager is an integral part of Latham's Human Capital & Talent team. This role will be responsible for supporting the office, Human Capital & Talent department, and the firm by providing HR advice and guidance to stakeholders on a range of complex HR matters, including employee relations and performance management. This role will be located in either our Singapore or Hong Kong office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Responsibilities In conjunction with firm leadership, developing and implementing the Human Capital & Talent strategy for the relevant office; working collaboratively with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on firm policies, procedures, and best practices; ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures and laws and regulations as required Ensuring successful implementation of strategic Human Capital & Talent initiatives Resolving complex operational and employee lifecycle matters escalated by members of the Human Resources team as appropriate; acting as a positive role model to Human Resources team members to encourage a collaborative and inspirational work environment Making recommendations to the Director of Administration regarding all functions of the office and working closely with Business Services Recruiting and Attorney Recruiting and Development departments Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience across HR functions and employee relations Excellent leadership skills and experience of leading a team Display the ability to work in a team environment with a best-in-class customer-service focus Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal A bachelor's degree or an equivalent; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Experience advising, guiding, and supporting key stakeholders within a global matrixed organization, preferably Experience in coordinating and managing employee relations matters, preferably Benefits & Additional Information Insurance Confidential Counseling & Coaching Family Building Benefits & Resources Well-Being programs And moreLatham & Watkins is an equal opportunity employer.
