Asia Pacific Operations Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of finance, accounting, and supply chain management in the Asia Pacific region. Key responsibilities include liaising with the Japan head office, deploying group policies locally, and establishing internal rules. The successful candidate will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as managing sales, expenses, and profits/losses.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the candidate will also be involved in managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and preparing financial reports in line with head office accounting standards and schedules. They will consolidate accounting and financial operations of branches and representative offices in each country, while also managing cash flow and local currency operations.
Other key responsibilities include optimizing contracts and costs with agents and logistics vendors in each country, handling tax filing, audit responses, and compliance matters, and establishing and operating internal controls, credit management, and risk management.
Preferred qualifications include certifications such as CPA, tax accountant, or supply chain management-related qualifications, experience in finance, accounting, or supply chain management at companies in Singapore or ASEAN, and experience working at multinational companies.
